the time upfront
to make sure
everything was
considered to
deliver the
knife I
envisioned, and
taught me a
lot about knives
and making them.
And the
result, after
several weeks of
discussion, was a
design that
suited not only
my desires but,
more
important and due
to the practical
suggestions Chris
offered, also
suited my needs.
I was seeking
a craftsman and
perfectionist to
make my knife
and that is
exactly what
Chris
Hayes proved
himself to be.
When I
received the
knife it was
perfect.....a functional
tool
suited to my
hunting and
outdoor needs, as
well an example
of superb
craftsmanship and
knife making
expertise. Chris
even coated the
blade with Frog
Lube to protect
it.
In addition,
Chris Hayes took
the extra step
of recommending a
colleague to do
the
leatherwork to
make a custom
sheath for the
knife, Scott
Tollefson of
Fatman Leather,
who
also delivered a great result.
